Carlo Acutis: Roadmap to Reality
READ CAREFULLY. Checking “I AGREE” creates a binding contract between CREDO Studios, LLC (“Licensor”) and the individual or entity accepting these terms (“Licensee”).
Private viewings for fewer than 30 persons require no license.
- One public, in-person screening during the Screening Window.
- Promotion solely through Licensee’s own channels (e-mail lists, bulletins, social media).
- Optional post-screening discussion or study session.
Non-commercial: No admission fee, donations, or concessions tied to the screening without prior written consent from Licensor.
4. Prohibited Uses
- Copying, ripping, editing, or duplicating the film in any format.
- Online posting, streaming, broadcasting, or telecast of any portion.
- Sale, rental, loan, sub-license, assignment, or transfer of the film or this license.
- Use that violates applicable law or infringes third-party rights.
5. Delivery of Film
(a) a DVD or Blu-ray shipped to the address supplied by Licensee; or
(b) a unique promo code granting secure streaming access on Licensor’s website.
The disc or code is for playback only at the licensed screening during the Screening Window and must not be shared, resold, lent, or transferred.
For shipments outside the United States, Licensee is responsible for any customs duties, taxes (including VAT/GST), brokerage fees, import clearance, and any extended transit times. Risk of loss for physical media passes to Licensee upon Licensor’s delivery of the shipment to the carrier.
Streaming access under Section 5(b) is provided for playback only within the Territory (as defined in Section 1) and may be subject to geo-blocking, technical availability, and local network restrictions. Licensor does not guarantee the availability of streaming in every country or region. Licensee is responsible for ensuring sufficient internet bandwidth and compatible playback equipment at the venue. Licensor may disable streaming access after the Screening Window ends.
6. Reporting
7. Indemnification
Licensee is solely responsible for venue safety, accessibility, and legal compliance, and will indemnify and hold harmless Licensor from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from or related to the screening.
8. Termination
Licensor may terminate this license immediately upon Licensee’s breach. All rights then revert to Licensor, and Licensee must cease use of the film and destroy any copies in its possession.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This license is governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of King County, Washington, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction therein.
